Our story
We are an independent, private hand therapy organisation based in Perth, established in 2000 by Alex Retallick, Occupational Therapist.
Alex’s dedication to evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and genuine care and empathy has been the cornerstone of Hand Works Occupational Therapy’s growth over the past two decades since opening her inaugural clinic in Rockingham. Our substantial expansion is a testament to this commitment.
We have earned the trust and loyalty of a distinguished network of referring professionals, including GPs, surgeons, occupational physicians, and other Allied Health specialists, due to the exceptional service we consistently deliver.
Our team comprises approximately 25 therapists spread across eight locations within the Perth metropolitan area. We prioritise a ‘patient-first’ approach, ensuring the highest level of care while also providing excellent customer service to our referrers and third-party entities.
Our family
Trust, empathy, authenticity and making a difference – our staff values are the core of our success at Hand Works.
