We currently have two positions available:
Assistant Clinical Coordinator in Hand Therapy (2IC - second in charge)

This new position has been created to enhance our team’s ability to perform at the highest level in the field of hand therapy.  The Assistant Clinical Coordinator will work closely with our Clinical Coordinator, leading and mentoring both senior and staff therapists, overseeing project management, including areas of business development, as well as the day to day running of all clinical functions. This role requires a can-do attitude, and has the potential for further development and growth, as the business itself grows.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic and driven senior hand therapist, wishing to further develop their career in clinical management and leadership. Interpersonal qualities are vital, as this role involves relationship management and mentoring of staff at varying levels of their career, together with the ability to upskill clinical staff. This role would ideally suit someone with a positive growth mindset, able to foster a good team culture, delegate effectively and be comfortable and adaptive to change.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration;
  • Experience at a senior hand therapist level, with recent and relevant hand therapy experience;
  • A very high level of verbal and written communication, together with organisational and time management skills;
  • Own vehicle and driver’s licence
  • Ability to work a 76 hour fortnight, Monday to Friday.

Salary from $126K per annum depending on hand therapy experience.

We are looking for an experience hand therapist who is driven, agile and have exceptional skills in time management and communication.  With a non-prescriptive approach, your advanced skills in clinical reasoning will see you carrying a varied caseload including sports injuries, post-operative and trauma, along with soft tissue plastic surgery and orthopaedic referrals.
